Kenny Baker (R2-D2)
Anthony Daniels (C-3P0)
Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett)
David Prowse (Darth Vader)
Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca)

Baker, Prowse, and Mayhew are now dead.

Wait, Flack, who have ya met who were in Star Wars?

My guesses are gonna be:

Kenny Baker
The Guy Who Played Greedo
David Prowse
The Guy Who Played Hammerhead
Natalie Portman

I've met five people who were in Star Wars and none who were in Star Trek. Also, all the people I met who were in Star Wars wore masks, so it's entirely possible I have simply met five scam artists.

I'm gonna mark you down for Picard, with the understanding that you'd only talk about his new show.

Come on. Not a SINGLE one, Ben? If you had to meet one for cocktails and forced conversation, who would you pick?
I don't want to bother them, they get enough of that.

Small hands -- he was much smaller than me -- but a firm handshake. I've never shaken the hands of a helmsman, but I think it would be similar.

Well my gosh, it's funny that you should mention this! I recently met George Takei, when he dropped by my workplace. We were introduced, we shook hands, he was very genial. He didn't say it, but I got the sense that he was thinking "this fellow would have fit right in on the Enterprise."
Awesome. I saw this on Facebook, and I wanted to talk to you about it, but I didn't know if that would be acceptable or not.

I'd love to meet Brent Spiner. My favorite Star Trek actor.

I met James Doohan at a Star Trek convention in Rochester, NY when I was 17. He was a great dude, got to say hello and shake his hand and tell him he was an inspiration. He was an inspiration for all the times I tried to imitate a Scottish accent, not really the engineering as such.

As I think nobody else on this BBS has met someone in Star Trek, and certainly not recently, this thread will probably die a quick, sad, lonely death. :(

Boy, I... I wish things were different. :( :(
