Mina rides her first roller coaster.

The only way she got past the height requirement was her big hair and a wink and a nod from the ride operator. The ride in question is the Swamp Fox, which is an "ACE (American Coaster Enthusiast) Classic", which means it's sort of a protected landmark. I dunno how powerful ACE is, but everything else good has been removed from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, so they must have some sort of pull.
The Swamp Fox is one of my favorite coasters ever. It's small, but classic, beautiful, and unlike a lot of ACE Classics, actually still fun after all these years.
Here was us going up the lift hill. This was the happiest she was the whole time. After we hit the top of the hill, she liked it progressively less and less all the way until the end, at which point I'm not sure I'll ever get her back on the rails. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
