CO, happy birthday man! I know you're having to go through a major career upheaval at the moment, but I hope you and the newly ramped up business are both doing well. Under the circumstances, I should probably be cutting you a birthday check instead of writing a message, but...uh...well, another happy birthday thread is what you're getting. Enjoy the day, excise away the pain and disappointment, and embrace the future! I know every time I've lost or left a job I've ended up better off, and I think this will end up true for you as well whether you stay committed to entrepreneurship or rejoin the rat race at some point. Maybe you'll look back and actually be glad this happened because of the opportunity it created. (Or maybe you already feel that way.)
