Switching Custom Back To World Map

Post by joebonk »

Hello, I made a custom map to repeat terrain. Was large 240 x 240 and it made it easier to make. But now that it's done I want to switch back cntr+W. Yet repeating terrain causes dropped items to also repeat. Is there a possible way to have all the cell numbers reassign to there own numbers since the size will not exceed the 240 maximum?
It made it easy to build but now I want to have it just a regular world map. When I started it (my first custom) I was thinking that if one switched back to regular then the number of cells would no longer be necessary. And dropped items would not repeat.
Having switched back still repeats new additions or dropped items:(
If there is no way then I request that there be an option to recalculate the number of cells (if they don't exceed the 240 maximum) in a future patch release.
Is there a way to permanently switch a map back to custom?

I will try making a new map and then copy the .a .b .c and .w to it and since that new one would not ever have been a custom maybe this trick would work.
