Yes.

YES.

Yes we shall.

(But like I said, not right now though.)

We were playing and then you left in the middle of the game. Would you like to explain that to the nice people here?

Well? We're waiting, Retro. Why did you quit the game? Low ping?

I'm being judged!

Seriously though, my PC automatically shut down on me - I'm thinking it was overheating (checked the BIOS immediately following and it reported a CPU temp of 80'C). Guess the game really is still in beta..

System logs show that the system killed itself when it hit 85'c... May be because I'm running an older set of Omega drivers or because HotS decided to kick my system in the teeth, but I'll update to whatever the latest rev. is and see if that solves the problem.

Does anyone find it ironic that a game like Heart of the Swarm, which causes some computers that play it to shut down because of overheating, is released by Blizzard Entertainment?
Alan Francis wrote a book containing everything men understand about women. It consisted of 100 blank pages.

Welcome back! This is an excellent post.

See, you barbarians? See, you hungry animals? You just had to give the Commander a chance.

HotS is now in its 11th beta iteration. It goes like this:

1. New beta is released, rules are changed, units are added/changed/removed.

2. EVERYONE on the SC2 forums pronounces it the worst update ever, declares they will never buy HotS now, everyone at Blizzard is a moron.

3. Goto #1.

They just released #11, which by my count caused the most "I am quitting, HotS is dead" posts in history, so I figure it's probably the best one yet, and will be how the game ships.

(SPOILERS: Siege Tanks don't require researching Siege anymore to be able to Siege.)

(That will probably get changed back, actually.)

(Or I am quitting SC2 forever, congrats Blizz.)

Pro-tip: to completely invalidate any online conversation about balance changes between races in SC2, decide to buy and play the game for the single player campaign (and maybe the achievements).

Boom! Problem solved (because now you don't actually have to care about Blizzard's crusade to completely break their own game).
