Anyone else enjoying the Gamma?

Also is there anyone else who agrees with me that this is the greatest thing in the history of computer gaming?

I figured everyone would, but then I see on the official forums that there are actually people who find it BORING and DISAPPOINTING.

It is literally impossible for me to believe these things, and as someone replied, if you think it's boring, you're not doing it right. Or maybe space sims really are the niche that kept them out of the spotlight for a decade, and that if you don't throw a poorly-written storyline at the player and lead them along with quests and level them up every 5 minutes, most gamers will just move on.

For those of us (old people) who remember, and never gave up on the dream of just being given a world to play around in, to make your own story, it's almost hard to conceive that this could have been done any better.
