- Paul is (temporarily) gone. STILL WAITIN' ON THOSE TILES, ICJ.

- NEW HUGE MAP, which you can now explore for hours and hours.

- A super-secret new command: Hit "m" to toggle between graphics and ASCII mode!! COOL!!

Oh also, I tweaked the dungeon generator, and I'm no longer seeing the wacky doors that Tdarcos mentioned. Let me know if you still see wacky doors (in the corner of rooms, out in the middle of a room, etc.)

Here's a look at UPCOMING UPDATES:

1. A ticket board for fellow developers, ROBB. What do we like? Trello? Jira? JITBIT?!?!

2. Get Paul back in there, get him chasing you, and getting you to lose if he crushes you with this mighty wheelchair and girth.

3. Multi-level dungeon.

4. Re-implement FOV so that stuff you've seen will still be known, but you only actually accurately see whatever's in your FOV.

5. Popup info panels (inventory, about, etc.)

6. Static stat panel (HP, strength, all that crap)

My main blocker right now is ROBB Q. SHERWIN, who is my graphical artist.

Let's use Trello. I apologize in advance for you having to deal with how slow I am for personal projects these days. Have you considered changing a couple small pieces of the game to make it a 4-color RPG?

v0.006 6/4/2016

- Keypad "5" will now wait a turn.

- PAUL IS BACK, and he is comin' for ya.

- You'll now lose if Paul catches you.

- Watching him roll after you is both frightening, and the funniest goddamn thing I've ever seen.

- NOTE: Certain tiles are currently kinda broken because of transparency issues. My team is on it. RIGHT TEAM??

When Pinback tossed me the link to this, it made me feel extremely out of touch with this board. Oh well...

On the flip side, do you guys need a writer or editor for items or pop up text that swears at the player?

Just that I haven't been hanging around here as much as I'd like.

v0.007 6/6/2016

FOV is back, and this time, it's personal:
- You can only see what you can see.
- However, parts you've SEEN will show up darker.
- Works in both tiles and ASCII mode!

- Various internal code cleanup/preparation for expansion.

- To do the "fog" effect, I broke the transparency on the prize graphic. I'll need my graphics team to address this.

Seeing Paul come suddenly from around a dark corner is one of the more unsettling moments in my gaming history.

EDIT: v0.0071

- You now have to g)et the prize when you're standing over it.
- Pressing "?" now shows you a command list (of two commands, so far.)

Oh yeah, and Paul is a little dumber now, so you have a better shot at winning.

v0.0072 Later that day...

- Pop up windows! Hit "?" for a list of commands, including the new a)bout page!

WARNING: I suck at CSS/HTML (see other thread) and this is probably broken, but it looked okay to me on Chrome and IE whateveritis.

When I get on a bus I usually warn other passengers to watch their feet when I'm approaching the securement area, because when I'm turning I can't see them, "and since me and the wheelchair together weigh about 750 pounds, in a contest between foot vs. chair, foot always loses. Just like in freight train vs. school bus at a railroad crossing, the school bus always loses."
