Those are the biggies. The other two that come to mind are Donnie Darko and E.T. If you need Donnie Darko explained to you, then Donnie Darko is not for you. As for E.T., the whole guns-to-walkie-talkie thing was barely noticeable, but E.T.'s CGI-enhanced face wasn't necessary and gave his ol' pal Lucas a terrible idea.

Just read the Wiki on E.T. changes for the 20th anniversary release. I think the shotguns were why ET's reaction was so dramatic and he levitated the bike. Stupid of Spielberg to change that. I never saw Apocalypse Now except fot the helicopter/ Ride of the Valkries scene so couldn't say one way or the orher. Star Wars...well, the changes certainly didnt do anything to make the movie better.
