I choose beer because it's great. I hadda stop drinking it though, the gout was getting bad. It seems like teh craft brew revolution is over. I saw cans of strawberry shortcake beers at Wegmans.

Yeah you mean like the way someone decided that ANY DRINK served in a martini glass is called a martini now? Just tack on "...martini" to the end of whatever you put in there. Or even just "-tini".

I think the current state of the American "craft-brewing revolution" can be summed up thusly:

1. At this point, Sam Adams Boston Lager has become one of the best beers in the country. It once was, and then wasn't, but now that everything else is Strawberry Shortcake Sour Coffee S'mores IPAs, it is yet again.

2. Sam Adams exists now because of Truly seltzer and Angry Orchard cider. The beer part of the business is an afterthought, and their least profitable venture.

Beer is over.

God damn is it good.

I liked going to small breweries in Denver. I am otherwise not enthusiastic about beer. But I liked doing that before the pandemic. Ok???

I like a nice cider over beer or wine.

They are hard to find, but the ones I like best are the ones "cold" pasteurized with UV instead of by heating. That way they taste just like apples. Heat ruins the delicious apple-y taste i think.
