I doubt anyone loves either, but tell us your preference!

I like Target a lot better, actually. It is just rare that I go in there unless I am shopping for clothing, electronics, or kitchen stuff. But as far as the look and layout of the store, the lack of too many unwashed people, and just overall not being as an annoying experience for me it is Target all the way.

I prefer Walmart for these three reasons, in increasing order of importance:

3. Selection/prices tend to be better.
2. I find Target's red and beige color scheme to be dour and depressing, whereas Walmart gives you blue and white, which is a lot more bright and pleasing.

But MAINLY:

1. That cloud of popcorn smell that smacks you in the face when you walk into Target turns my stomach and makes me want to kill myself immediately. God, that popcorn. One great thing about the pandemic was they closed those things down, but now, sadly, things are getting back to normal.

The People of Walmart is a thing. They have better stuff than Target but redneck nagger low down common denominator pajama-wearing people usually infest teh Wallmart. If they shooed everyone else out and opened ten, no five, well TWO cashier check outs I would pick that store instead of Target

No, when I go to the movies, I want to smell popcorn. When I want to buy a t-shirt and some carpet cleaner, not so much.

I voted for Target.

My trips to Walmart begin with a 1/2 mile walk to the store from where I parked. Once inside, it seems like I spend hours (weeks?) walking around, trying to find the things I'm looking for. If I'm looking for more than two things, rest assured they'll be as far away from one another as possible. There's always an aisle or two that are blocked with a pallet full of goods. My visits always end with a security guard deciding I look like a shoplifter and going over my receipt as kids with candy and DVDs falling out of their pockets walk past me.

My trips to Target begin with a pleasant parking experience. Inside is bright and clean, and things are easy to find. I don't recall ours smelling like popcorn, but there's a Starbucks on the way out and sometimes I get a coffee to go.

If I have to choose between a place that smells like popcorn and a place that smells like poor people, I know which one I'm picking.

Smells like poor people should be Wal-Mart's slogan!

Much like the experience at mine! I didn’t want to bring up the popcorn thing but yeah.. no popcorn in ours. Instead we also have Starbucks and a Pizza Hutt to go in ours. You smell neither walking in.

The biggest thing I find myself purchasing is the scent of the lower classes, so my answer is the reverse of Flack's?

Dollar General not shitty enough for you? Your local Family Dollar not firebombed yet? COME ON UP to Dollar Tree where sometimes we don't even let employee checks clear! That's how we pass the savings down!
