listen.pls deleted

Post by Flack »

Back when the Don Rogers show was streaming I added a shortcut on my desktop to the stream. For some reason the shortcut is named "listen.pls" (I always read it as "listen, please!" and the icon is VLC's, which is a giant orange traffic cone. I have an odd number of icons on my desktop and because of this I am always moving it around and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Sometimes I move it to the right hand side and sometimes I move it to below all the others, but I've kept it on my desktop all this time in hopes of the show returning.

The last time I moved it (a couple of months ago) I made a point of looking up when the last DR show aired -- May, 2013. I made a deal with myself. I would move the icon somewhere else, but if there wasn't a show in one year's time, I would get over it and delete it.

Welp, May's here, and unfortunately, I'm back to an even number of icons on my desktop again. I think one of the stages of grieving is acceptance. That's the one I hit this morning. RIP, Don.

The show is down for retooling.
I don't have to say anything. I'm a doctor, too.

Oh, is that what they're calling it?

This show has been "retooled" more often than HEALTHCARE.GOV. I have seen cars needing constant maintenance be retooled less than this show.
