Valve stems

Post by Ice Cream Jonsey »

Mine is 1) rusted and 2) The cap is gone. Are these things universal? If I buy a front tire valve stem, is there a good chance it will just work?

I think they're all standard. Never had to change one, or have one changed. Can you put it in yourself? Are there specialized tools needed to replace these things?

I had no idea they were replaceable so I probably won't be much help. I do know the caps are universal. I was going to buy some on Amazon and 4 were $4 shipped and 100 were $5 shipped so... I have 96 spares.

Sorry, I thought this thread was called "Valve stem cells" and was just going to recommend you eat more pork belly.
I don't have to say anything. I'm a doctor, too.
