* You find in various songs where someone speaks about a former or lost love, and you sometimes get those who apologize for their mistakes, grovel deeply as they try to find the words to show that their errors or mistakes were not personal, or that they hope that somehow they can win forgiveness or mercy from whomever it was that they've wronged. I'll call these, "the Apologetics."
* Then there are some who aren't so much apologizing as trying to show that despite whatever it is they've done, there's still a lot between them and the other person, and perhaps there is room to talk, and, maybe, get back together. I'll call these, "the Neutrals."
* And you get those who, admit, often with sadness, that they realize the relationship is over, and they have to move on. I'll call these, "the end."
