I just looked it up to confirm it, and according to Merriam-Webster the word "legless" is used to describe someone or something with fewer than the expected standard amount of legs making pinback's original insult accurate.

Bullshit. Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining. The least you can do, when someone can verify what you said in 20 seconds, is not to say something provably wrong, but to at least try to make your bald-faced lies seem credible.

I looked up Merriam-Webster and there are only two definitions. 1. having no legs; 2. British slang for extremely drunk.

But what can we expect of a Trump supporter but to emulate his idol and tell lies? Not much else, I guess.

Yeah, but at what cost? Before, I might have disagreed with you, but at least I figured you were an honest broker of information. You've now proven you're dishonest and untrustworthy.

You made an obvious, transparent lie and pretended to use a reliable authority to back up your lie. If you'll lie on a trivial, unimportant thing, I have to figure you'd lie about anything.

I will never believe anything you say absent verifiable, credible evidence conclusively proving it.

You don't believe anything anyone says unless it was something written in an Ayn Rand novel or found in the lyrics to some esoteric song nobody on Earth has ever heard of before except yourself.

While in Rochester, I bought two of what they are calling "Twist Rolls."

https://www.dipaolobakingcompany.com/breads

We called them hard rolls, I think everyone does. We burned through one on the trip. We brought them to have lunch with my wife's aunt and she did not eat the twist part. That saddened me greatly.

Why those can't be purchased west of Rochester, I have no idea. I have 8 of them and will be hanging onto them for dear life. They are the greatest rolls in the world. Someone back me up here.

I also tried bringing a Pontillo's back. It was NOT good. Shipping cooked pizzas across the country is now, after 22 years, an idea that is dead to me.

This is both untrue and a gross overgeneralization. I believe trustworthy sources that continue to show themselves to be correct.

The inverse is the exact reason people do not believe the statements of, or perhaps do not trust, supporters of Donald Trump: because they do not trust people who would continue to believe someone who has been categorically and irrefutably proved to be a pathological liar.

The Washington Post has confirmed that Trump has publicly said 10,000 lies since he took the oath of office. Not since he announced his candidacy, or since he was elected, but after he became president. Correction, in a July 20, 2020 article, they reported that number has increased to 20,000 "false and misleading claims."

I'll accept what knowledgeable professionals without undue biases and honest people say over someone who apparently can't go one day without telling an average of 12 public lies. All politicians tell lies, but Trump has gone way beyond anything ever reached, to levels of dishonesty that boggle the mind.

Let's take the song I quote from for my current signature, "Running on Empty", which was on a Billboard #3 album and was a #11 hit song, and is #496 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. Probably several million people know this song. So is this one of the "songs nobody on Earth has ever heard of?" Or any of the other songs I've used for this purpose? Would you care to name some of these songs I've referenced there or in my postings that "no one has heard?"

Overgeneralizatons and hyperbole, what a winning combination!

Agreed. The Commander also believes anything written in Version 4 Release 2 of the IBM Enterprise COBOL for z/OS.

I will be damned. You got it on the nose; I had to look it up. There really is a version 4.2 of Cobol for z/OS. (And you even knew the z is lower case.)

However, there are four things wrong with your statement.
1. I never used Cobol version 4 release 2 as I never used z/OS.
2. I moved on to PCs before the initial copyright date of the V4R2 manual, 1991 and subsequent update in 2009.
3. The current release of IBM Enterprise COBOL for z/OS is version 6 release 3, dated July 31, 2020.
4. Any technology using a compiler released in 1991 is probably too old to be useful. Who would be using programs written using 30-year-old technology? It wouldn't be able to handle current developments (check cards, internet-based queries, on-line bill paying, etc.) And I don't know that I'd trust something that old for any current-day developments.

I may pick up a real one this week! I used to like the hot ham and Swiss from Hardee’s too.

Also, I have sworn off my local Arby’s for a while. Not because of the food, but because of the complete idiots working there.

About a ago month I went, waited nearly 10 minutes for the lady in front of me to even be asked for her order.

My turn. I pull up and count to 120. Then, I say “Hey. Get ready here comes my order. 2 French dip sandwiches. That’s all.”

“Sir please hold on”

“Nope. You aren’t doing that to me. I saw how you did the lady in front of me. Now listen..”

The whole time the bitch is trying to talk over me. Bitch can talk over me but not punch 2 sandwiches in?

“Are you done? Trust me, this is really simple..”

“Sir you are gonna..”

“Yeah, yeah whatever. Haha BYE!”

And she got a complimentary honk along with the middle finger! LoL

Holy crap, look at the picture that comes up when you search "obnoxious definition" on Google: https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALe ... definition

You can almost hear him yelling at the drive-through lady.

Nah man what is obnoxious here is waiting 10 minutes to place a fucking order when there were only 2 cars in front of you.

Also, I did not yell! I just spoke in a normal, plain and clear drive-thru voice. Maybe that annoyed her more!
