Tester with access to macOS version needed

Post by RealNC »

Does anyone here have access to an old Mac with macOS 10.9 Mavericks? I don't have one anymore and I'd like someone to test if this build of Hugor runs on it or not:

If not, then testing on macOS 10.10 would still be useful. And if nobody has that either, then maybe someone has 10.11?

(There's no need for testing on 10.12 or newer. I have access to those versions myself.)

Shoot. I think I upgraded to High Sierra.

Hugor as of a month ago did work on what was before Sierra. That's what I had initally. Then I upgraded to Sierra and then High Sierra.

Never mind. A Russian hacker from archive.org helped me.

It sounds like there may be more to the story.

Is there more to the story?

Nah. I found a 10.9 virtual machine image on archive.org. I was able to make it work and when first booted, it turned out it's all in Russian. It took me while to figure out how to switch everything to English.

The Russians all have this week off so real Russians might be able to help test too.
