New Hugo tutorial site

Post by Gerynar »

Howdy,

To all my fellow Hugonauts, I have set up a simple wiki site that will be all about Hugo. I'm calling it Hugo By Example. Since it's a wiki, I'm hoping to have others help fill in the various parts with sample code so if someone is trying to figure out how to set up grammar for a new verb, they can go to this site and find out.

The URL is http://hugo.gerynarsabode.org

I went with a wiki called WikkaWiki because mediaWiki was a bit too much for my cheap web-host's server, and it constantly timed out. This means that some of the wiki formatting codes are going to be different from what you're used to if you've ever edited wikipedia, or ifWiki.

The cool thing is I've added Hugo to the language highlighting schemes, so when you add code, you can specify Hugo as the language.

(The home page has some basic editing instructions for showing code/output/etc...)
