Well, hello there, and welcome to adventure!
I've made a few text adventure games over the years. Some with graphics, some with music, all like Zork or The Pawn in a way. And they all work on Windows, Linux and OS X.
To play these games, you just need an interpreter program. I recommend Hugor for Windows, Linux (64-bit AppImage) or a Mac.
