My dad and I used to race together but for years we really did not have a hobby to share.
In his younger years, he was a saxophone player in a band. I’ve played guitar of all styles for years and decided “I should ask dad about a collaboration for one his favorite songs!” He seemed extremely interested in Harlem Nocturne. This song is much harder on sax than guitar it sounds like.. I am just nailing down the weird chord at the beginning while getting the proper vibrato and reverb tone. The rest of the chords are easy. Hopefully we lay this down on a track with a friend who plays bass and some light drummer one day.
