It did not originally, but with a few software tricks you can use the "Racing Controller" for Atari 2600 as a spinner. That's what I use to play Tempest.

Nah and I haven't talked to either of those cool German dudes behind that project at all lately. However, from what I gather the "PiTrex" is the latest toy out there.. and I would assume it could do what VecFever does aside from using the Vide SDK to try to make homebrew. Also, speaking of Ebay prices I just glanced at prices of Vectrex systems themselves and MAN am I glad I already own one!
