I replaced my Linux distro this morning, and kept thinking, gosh, what do I need to backup so I don't lose anything important, and the answer I arrived at was "nothing".
Then I considered just blowing away Windows on this machine and reinstalling Linux again on top of everything, and stopped to think, well, what do I need to save from my Windows installation?
I... I can't think of anything.
Of course, there's the tedium of reinstalling tools/apps/games you like/need, but I'm wondering if it's just me, and you could just blow everything on your computer away right now and not lose anything important or that you wanted to keep.
Between backup drives and cloud storage and github and the like, does anyone keep anything important on their local drives anymore?
