No more song lyrics.
What next? No more words? And no more promises of love?

No more song lyrics.
I hope there would be two exceptions:
(1) Signatures.
(2) A thread discussing a particular song and if rlevant, its lyrics, e,g, Escape (The Piña Colada Song): the story of two cheating bastards. The thread wiithout them would not have worked.

You didn't just respond to the same post twice, and then add a page full of (fake) song lyrics, did you?

You have to stop doing that.

You have to.

OK.
I get the picture. I think you're telling me it was like:

"Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to
Do you have to let it linger?"

Thank you for your understanding.

If I don't fix this right, I had to hurry because I was being changed after a massive barfing sessopm/

Ask (brief!) questions, express your admiration or other reaction (briefly!), that's fine. But adding giant paragraphs about, for instance, your own work history to a thread someone else is creating, you have to stop doing that.

You have to.

You can make a new thread! Like, "My own work experiences that Jiz's thread reminded me of!" and then go to town. That's great! We love the content.

You have to stop barging into and ruining other people's threads.

Fair enough, I will make a conserted effort to do so. Or maybe a performanced effort, whatever is the next step below a concert. It's funny, as soon as you said it, I understood what you meant.

You have to.

Oh OK gotcha.
Completely warranted then.

I have been emailing him thirty times a day for the last 10 years. It just does not reach him.

Why did this have to be said publicly?

There is always an inbox option.

It's like publicly shaming people is the thing around here.
