In threads -- particularly in the monologue base -- where it is one person presenting something, either a running log of a project they're doing, or some artistic endeavor they are sharing with us, do NOT post pages of your own thoughts and experiences related to what they are talking about, derailing the thread. Ask (brief!) questions, express your admiration or other reaction (briefly!), that's fine. But adding giant paragraphs about, for instance, your own work history to a thread someone else is creating, you have to stop doing that.
You have to.
You can make a new thread! Like, "My own work experiences that Jiz's thread reminded me of!" and then go to town. That's great! We love the content.
You have to stop barging into and ruining other people's threads.
