Learned how to make mods today. Created my first "Event" and my first "Enemy"; the "LSD CULTIST".

The game was updated a lot since the pirated version I originally tried. Finally got the Steam version once I saw that there is a workshop. That means I can create my own stories! Also noticed Zarf played this. He probably hated it lol

ICJ mentioned this game a few days ago and looking up screenshots of it got me interested.

Played the Switch port for a couple hours yesterday with a couple of friends that came over. This morning I beat the "main mission" I guess it's called where you have to solve 5 mysteries then enter a lighthouse for a final test.

It reminds me a lot of Shadowgate, but with a different navigation and inventory system. There is also combat! However, if you encounter a ghost that attacks you then physical attacks are useless. The soundtrack is completely outstanding. The music and sound effects are definitely some of my favorite I've heard in a game in a long time. It's "chip music" style (8bit-16bit) with lots of droning tones, dark beats, and crazy effects.

Now I'm playing a randomized mystery; so far the game seems to have a lot of replay value! It also managed to jump-scare me at least once haha
