A package came yesterday that, at first, I thought was from Amazon, only I'm not expecting anything from them (my very low amount of available funds required drastic cuts in purchases). My roommate Leslie, who had retrieved the package for me, told me it was from [city deleted] Oklahoma.
My first thought: Flack.
And it was. A tremendous selection of candies, drizzled popcorn and other delights, all of which I'm sure will spike my blood sugar to stratospheric levels, and the things I've tried have all been delicious and addictive. Chocolate, white chocolate, and marshmallow-flavored candy canes, and candy canes. The ones I haven't had a chance to try are the sugar-free vanilla wafers, the tin of shortbread cookies, and a large plastic candy cane with chocolates.
Along with this was a red envelope with a very nice Christmas card.
Thank you, Flack.
