I was happy to engage in rampant consumerism under capitalism, an economic system I thought was better than the alternatives.

Then the dumb shits that failed upwards in the billionaire class decided to pick a fight with us. Fuck them. They're all about to learn for the first time what elasticity in demand means. I hope there's 10 million realizations in 10 million households that are similar right now.

You guys have changed my life in the course of a few posts. Brave Android app delivers YouTube with no ads and keeps running when the phone is off. Google can suck my $204 a year.

Due to the Brave browser discussion I looked into it (apparently it does crypto mining sort of too) and downloaded. It did exactly what you guys said it would by blocking YouTube inline ads. Now, the YouTube Premium only has the "can't close the app and still listen" limitation so fuck them.

Thanks JC!!

Happy New Year!
