I use them all as phone apps, although I"m guessing most of them are likely supported on the web as well.

Obviously I have used ChatGPT.

Can we (I) have links to all of these so we (I) can try them?

Facts.

I'm sick of Siri returning, "Here's something I found on the web". Hey bitch, I can google it myself. I asked you straight up because I want an answer, not a link to start doing my own research.
Aye. Other day I asked someone at work to look up a stock price for me because I forgot my phone. He held up his phone. I had no idea he wanted me to talk to it to do a simple search lol

So, that was an epic fail.
I set the reminder.. ChatGPT said that it would do what I asked... and then it did not.
After further review... apparently you need access to the paid version. I am not interested in it enough to spend $20/month.

FWIW though, they all have standalone apps. I have the action button on my phone set to open Copilot's "conversational mode". I hit the button, it very nicely asks me "Hi Steve, what goin on this afternoon" (or some such thing), and then we start a conversation. Much like saying "Ok Google" or "hey Siri", but theoretically with better results. Well, DEFINITELY better results than Siri. Maybe not than OK Google.
I have been using chatGPT for syntax help/reminders in JavaScript. I just got added to a team at work that is using "Cursor," and I think I'll see if I can get that going with VS Code this week and see if it helps any.
Is Copilot integrated in any of that stuff?

I am becoming a TREMENDOUS fan of Copilot within Visual Studio. It has saved me SO much time with syntax. I start writing a new block of code, and it predicts what I need EERILY well. Today I checked something into Github, and included what I thought was a "descriptive enough" explanation of what I was checking in. Copilot added to it, with a VERY nice, detailed explanation that put my comments to shame.

I needed a bunch of valid User Agents for work today and GPT was able to create/hallucinate/fake them well enough. Saved a bunch of time. It really has been great for me knowing what I want to do and then having it go find what I know is out there.

I'm almost to the point of paying for GPT, its so useful. So I use up my daily free GPT, then move on to Gemini which is fairly capable and free. GPT is the only one really good at searching the internet in real time. GPT can manipulate spreadsheets ("review this spreadsheet of phone numbers and add the state and time zone in the next two columns based on the area codes" works if you have enough tokens). GPT can rhyme now and does a decent job of writing stuff. I'm starting to go to gpt/gemini first instead of google searches, it's nice to not have to go to several websites to answer a question.

Tried DeepSeek, what's the point of an AI that can't search the internet. Just signed up for Claude but haven't played with it yet.

Re: Images, it's interesting where the limits are. GPT will write a satirical version of How the Musk stole America but won't make pictures of him or donald. What works sometimes is to say "looks kind of like Elon Musk" but not always. Gemini won't touch politics these days.

Gotta try Grok just for political images, thanks for the recommendation.

Honestly man I’ve checked out a bit of nearly every chat endpoint to make sure I’m not missing out, but my go to is talking to my iPhone (Siri) in Japanese. Directions, everything.

Why? It helps me keep up with the language and keeps me from asking google or whatever things aloud in English which annoys me when others do. I would rather just type my shit in if I can use my hands lol

Edit: I do really like the idea of these ai debuggers though. Mentioned before that’s the only thing so far I saw a coworker 1-up me on.. his editor had ai to point out an issue with a dockerfile I didn’t see in my bare bones editor.

I accidentally subscribed to Midjourney on Discord for a year and not a month, so I have that available, I guess. I had Stable Diffusion running locally, but it just takes up so much hard disk space and was constantly needing refreshes that I used it every day until I didn't.

Do you use an AI chatbot?

Back when I had an android phone (up until early 2021 I believe), I always enjoyed using Google Assistant. I thought it was a very useful phone assistant.

When I switched to iPhone, I quickly found that Siri was essentially unusable, and have gotten away from asking my phone questions.

Now, with the evolution of AI chatbots, I am starting to thoroughly enjoy them again.

My go-to is Copilot, believe it or not. I like that I can have a legit conversation with it, I find its voice relaxing, and I find that it normally returns pretty accurate information.

My #2 is Gemini. It's not quite as refined, but I find it pretty accurate.

My #3 is ChatGPT, but it is gaining some serious steam. I just found out that you can use it to set reminders. Can I count on them for daily, on-time delivery? I dunno yet. We'll see. This gives ChatGPT a leg up on all of the other chatbots, and may make it my favorite. I look forward to seeing how Apple integrates it further into its OS in IOS 19.

My #4 is Grok. I detest Elon. But it's the only chatbot (of these) that will let me generate a picture of Justin Trudeau punching Donald Trump in the face, so it DOES get an honorable mention.

What your favorite, and why?
