Hey, ICJ. My 3D printer is currently down for retooling. :(

All the public libraries around here now had 3D printers and each one has a different rule about how they work. You can just take in the STL file on a USB stick and they will print it. They will not make you wait for the print because printing a sidecar for a PCJr would take like 3 days I'm guessing. At one of the libraries here it's completely free and at one if it's of a certain size they charge you for the filament which would literally be $1-$2. The last time I was there I saw a guy printing a few things and when I asked him what they were for he said he sells them. Capitalism is alive at the library!

I guess it will be interesting to see if they make you wait around for the thing to print.

There is an Apple II monitor stand that people try to sell for $140 on eBay and I gotta think there is a market there for 3D printed replacements. Perhaps this is my calling.

Also I haven't shipped that jersey to Pinner yet, so I'm distancing myself from much of this post.

I didn't know Staples did 3d printing.

Yeah ICJ why didn't you just ask about places that do this for a fee

Or you could go to Staples.

Flack. Flack!!

There are PCjr specs for the "sidecar," to be 3D printed. Are you still at all in the 3D printer business? Would it be possible for me to hire you to 3D print a sidecar, if I find the specs? Something for the materials, postage and your time? If this sounds like the world's biggest pain in the ass, I understand. (Also if everyone knows already about places that do this for a fee, let me know.)
