I, in turn, find it refreshing that airports are stepping up their efficiency this way. Not only are you now not required to show ID at the gate and can electronically check yourself in, but now they don't even bother flying the luggage of the foreigners they know damn well are going to get shot up in Miami out of the city.

Look, Lex, it's too late for you to not be born, but unless you're either American or Puerto Rican, it's just really a dumb idea to go anywhere near Miami while being yellow, black, brown, or pasty white, and, honestly, those who try probably shouldn't toss their genes into the Pool O' Life. Miami's a cesspool, it's a CESSPOOL, and any respectable Damn Foreigner shouldn't have gone anywhere near it.

I'm sorry for your loss.

NEVER TRAVEL BRITISH AIRWAYS. NEVER. Bastards made me two hours late for a shoot in London, lost my luggage on THREE seperate occasions, and generally seem intent upon destroying not only Brits' journeys and their patience, but their VERY SOULS.

My dad has flown to Miami, where he will get a second flight Porto Ricco, to do some work for Bacardi. He owns a television / film production company, and is working on their walk-through experience.

He is now waiting in his hotel-room, pale-faced, because his luggage has not arrived. He's told the soonest it'll arrive is tommorow afternoon.

He leaves for Porto Ricco this morning.

All his equipment, including $85,000 lenses are in that case. Without it, he cannot do his job, at all. My dad is self-employed, in that he owns the business; he's frequently up editting all night from his studio, and often we don't see him at weekends. If he's not working, we don't eat.
What do you say to executives at Bacardi if you don't have your equipment?

So, the luggage is marked only as far as Miami, what'll happen?

What'll happen? And what compensation can he claim?
