Oh, back on topic, for those that don't read groucho (and to those, I also say, "fuck you"), I ended up going as a wigger.

I was going to go as an abortion doctor but the only place I checked was out of doctor outfits on the day after Halloween.

Re: Jonsey's outfit.
1) AGAIN?????????
2) Try to smear the makeup less for next year's inevitable Joker costume.

WTF, dude? You're calling me out for not be a "real gamer", yet you're the one making patently wrong statements about video game history lately.

If I hated the DC, I wouldn't be looking for one to fucking wear on Halloween.

I am not interested in owning one. Why would I pay the bucks for another system, and then have to pay the bucks for controllers, games, etc, when I have more games than I could play in my lifetime already? Hell, I think $20 is generous.

As for "hush-hush", I was being hush-hush about the costume idea, not that a DC would be part of it.

Hell, you probably never even heard of Typing of the Dead before.

One of those white PS1s might make an OK substitute - but I don't have one of those, either. Damn! Damn!
Jesus Christ. You ended up getting all hush-hush about a goddamn Dreamcast system.

This is truly pathetic from your side. I can't believe you were that adamant about not getting one. You would have been able to play DREAMCAST GAMES. It is far better than any Halloween costume ever could have been. You would have had the "costume that just kept on giving."

Seriously, why do you even bother stating that you like video games any longer? You're quite obviously so biased against one of the most important companies that ever existed on the scene that it has ruined you. The Dreamcast is good enough to slug over your back but not good enough to buy? Shameful.

Salem was fucking great. I'll have some pictures soon enough. Next year I'm going as Jesus Christ.

Don't have it. If you can find it in a store somewhere, you could always buy it. I know it's like kryptonite to you though. :)

I'm getting anxious, and resorted to asking Straw if he has the prop I require and if so, if I could borrow it. Otherwise, I have to create a cardboard replica, which will be less impressive.

So much left to do, so much left to do, so much left to do. I still have to attach all my wire, find a shirt and pair of pants that will work and then hope nothing gets disconnected during the actual party. Still have to go get Vitriola's actual costume before it gets zombiefied as well.

Oh, well. It's all worth it when I'm laying in a pool of my own radioactive green Halloween vomit.

My grrl and I were going to go as the White Stripes. But we were invited to no parties. So we'll probably go see "Lost in Translation" at the Little.

Well, I just tried out the contacts in the floursecent eye numbing dip. Works freaking awesome! Of course now my eyes are numb but that'll wear off in a couple hours. the black light above the door, some white face paint, the evil glowing eyes, my mild, soothing manners. Yep, were keepin' all the candy this year

I look sorta like the guy on Star Trek's second pilot "Where no man has gone before". 'Cept greenish 'stead of chrome.

I'm probably just going to grab a cheap rubber or plastic mask with a white string. I just want to go to Salem because I heard it's great. I can't get a costume all together and go to Massachusetts. I might though go as a raver.

by AArdvark » Mon Oct 27, 2003 5:22 pm

Hey RobB, wrap yourself in black garbage bags and wear dark shades and bump into all sorts of walls and cars and things then tell everyone you are daredevil.

OK, that is more obscure than what I'd doing.

by Lysander » Mon Oct 27, 2003 8:44 am

I've suddenly decided that it would be a fun idea to go as riot of the blood Iori Yagami. Probably having something to do with the way I've been frantically looking all over the internet to find an obscure fact on what causes it in the first place, but eh. Thinkin' it would be fun to start lurching around everywhere and suddenly leaning towards any annoying kids and break a purple glowstick. Or something.

by Jethro Q. Walrustitty » Mon Oct 27, 2003 8:08 am

Believe me, it's nothing that you (either of you) would loan me, at least, not for the use I have planned for it.

Patience, grasshopper.

In other news, the missus and I realized that on Saturday, she has a bridal shower to go to, then we have to go to a Bar Mitzvah (for one of her cousins), then the party. Apparently, we'll have quite a busy day.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to get contact lenses before then.

Whatchoo need, homie?

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Fri Oct 24, 2003 12:22 pm

Is it anything I could send you?

by Jethro Q. Walrustitty » Fri Oct 24, 2003 11:47 am

Going as the guy who manned the user link from Tron isn't obscure.

What I'm going as is obscure. And bizarre.

Of course, for it to be truly authentic, I would need a certain piece of electronics, which I don't have but which Jonsey and Straw do (or, at least, I think Straw does.) So, it will be inauthenticate and likely will have a cardboard replica.
