Wait, he posted earlier today. False alarm; let's celebrate his life. Life! Life instead.

Ben is dead, there is no arguing that fact, but how do you think Ben "perished?"

Also, saying he was buried... I wonder if they buried him with his Three Items.

I remember that time.....

Ben was a hockey player in Yugoslavia and he was the dumb puck.

I also remember the time he was in that Turkish prison.

I also remember that time he had an infection on his balls and we told him to itch it sometimes.

I remember that time I really did not know Ben, but I wish I did.

I remember that time Ben sang a song of sixpense a pocket full of ryhmes.

That is all I remember, how bout you?

All the young girls love Bennnnnnn, Tender young Beennnnnn they sayyyyyyyy!!!

I guess thats why they call it the bluesssss, Time on my hands could be time spent on YAHHHOOOOOOO.

Remember when we met again in Vegas, and afterwards he told you to RUN (away)? That was awesome.

I remember the time he bitched me out for having my own opinion on Magnolia. Obviously I was wrong.

Yeah, he was like almost 50.

...

... Wait, that was Clash. But still.

I'll always treasure the swell times we had over at the Jetstream BBS, as well as the PWC3. Goodbye Ben.

WHY DO ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG

by Lysander » Tue Dec 09, 2003 7:50 pm

I remember... the first time I talked to him on MSN Messenger, I suggested helping him write his text adventure. So I asked him what he wanted to make, and he (probably in gest) suggested a GTA3 Interactive Fiction game. My next action, of course, was to call the bluff and write out a detailed introduction for it. He... he said my writing was good. He applauded my memorization. Ah, Ben, I will miss your buttering me up for no goddamn reason so...

This is the OFFICIAL "Pinback is Dead" thread. I know there are some other "pretenders to the throne" around... this, please cannot be that!

Hahahha!

Oh, that Ben... he always had a way of incorporating "Magnolia" lines into everyday speech. And non-speech, like when he threw a frog at me.

Ben died somewhere in middle America, on November 21st, 2003. Let's now tell our favorite Pinback stories and mourn the loss of our very good friend. A good friend who hated us all, but good friend nonetheless.
