Mike got like three of them when he was at home. I had one, but was at Nick's twice so I could get a plate for the two people who watched one of the cats.

I hate to say it... but it really was not the process (bringing it back on the plane) that I thought it would be. Next year... Jesus, I can't believe I am saying this... next year...

I think I'm gonna do the same for us.

It's not going to go bad. Two cheeseburgers, home fries, macaroni salad, and some hot slop? Nothing there that's not on top of my Christmas nutrition pyramid. Anyway, I am making some during my week off, in part to use up the liter of "hot sauce" we now have here.

Well, I am more or less back around here and these parts. Hopefully this becomes an entertaining place again. Some quick things in the meantime:

o They put a giant shawl on the "Dorothy" thingie in that Land of Oz set. This is good for Todd McFarlane, because he can set it out on display in public in Des Moines. But I think it's also bad because if a parent unknowingly got it for their kid, well, that shawl is coming off four seconds after Johnny opens the box.

o Yes, I am still pissed off regarding that missed extra point in the Saints-Jaguars game. Jesus Christ.

o The official drink of Holidays 2003 was in fact -- for me -- a Christmas Riesling. So I'll be changing the name of this bulletin board to Riesling Country very soon.
