Tactics was in 2d.

Interplay to my knowledge hasn't made an 3d RPG unless, you are going to fucking count Messiah or something.

These guys just beleive to be a true RPGer you have to be ass backwards and xenophobic about new graphic systems. Frankly, I never wanted to be a gamer to begin with ... person who sporadically plays video games for long bouts of time sounds much better.

Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha.

I went back to Icewind Dale (a 2D game) not too long ago, after dorking around with Freedom Force until I solved it. The lack of a "turn perspective" feature was really hard to take again.

I say that knowing full well that I'll buy Icewind Dale II, which won't have it either, but then that's supposed to be the last great 2D D&D game, so I'll deal.

Was Fallout Tactics in 3D? I presume not. I've heard nothing but good things about that one. I gotta get me some of that at some point.

Now if you wade through that topic you will notice that people are actually saying if Fallout 3 won't be a Fallout game unless they use the same old tired graphics engine. I registered Worm and then changed by e-mail adress and forgot the password so I'm under Sumerset Isle on this board.
