The problem with living in a place where you sleep on an air mattress and put it away during the day is that whenever you come back into the place, or turn around after being lost in a book or movie or somesuch for any length of time, you instantly think: Oh shit, I've been robbed!
This has happened to me twice today.
Fortunately, I'm quickly able to recall that: I don't own anything, so I couldn't have been robbed.
Whew!!
