This is the second or third best thing that could happen to the franchise, though that doesn't neccessarily mean anything good. Hopefully they won't crank up the required system specs to the moon like they did with Morrowind, cock the whole thing up with bugs like they did in Daggerfall, or set it in a lifeless static world like they did with Daggerfall and Morrowind.
And I know you haven't and never will play KotOR because the "wrong people" like it, Worm, but the sequel is being designed by the dude who did Torment. Take that for what it's worth.
