It's a Toshiba Satelite. Actually, I might just say fuck the keyboard and get a whole new laptop, it's four years old and kind of sucks. The only reason i have it is because i got it for free, and hey, I'ma not gonna say to a free internet connection in my room. But I might buy a new one. i was gonna do it anyway, at some point.

Part of the grid for the keyboard has likely failed, but there's one thing you can check first. Open up the laptop and check the thin mylar ribbon cable that connects it to the motherboard. Just make sure that it's firmly in its connector . Outside of that, you're looking at a new keyboard.

Exactly what kind of laptop do you have? I have a couple of dead laptops in storage at work....maybe you'll get lucky.

It's had a stroke. With enough rehabilitation yuou can get the left side of it to take over the right side functions that have died off from electricity deprivation.

Half of it has spontaneously stopped working. The alphabet leys seem to wrk fine, it's some of the system keys that don't. For instance, the tab, escape, and f4 keys appear to be just not registering. Like, they move perfectly. There isn't a jam or anything. But those keypresses don't register. It's erally pissing me off.[/b]
