Ben is making a video game. It's hex-based warfare.
*I* have played many, many games. But never a hex-based war game. He's making great strides in his project but I feel that I cannot help him because I ultimately have no idea what kind of game it's going to be, what's "gamey" about it or where the fun would come from.
He said that it would be a game like Perfect General there. He's told me to download and play it many times. Yet!! Yet, I haven't.
He (Ben) finally gave me an URL. My method of note taking is to just write crap down on this BBS, which I have done.
I'd say that getting the URL was an important first step. I'm about 72-96 hours away from downloading the game and trying it out.
Personally, I think I'd like to make a Quake mod.
