I think tonight's episode is where Adama & the Prez tell everybody that Cylons can look like humans, and that asian pilot might get caught. Has a lot of potential anyway.
Yes. Now, the entire success of the series from here until the end of its time on the air depends
solely on which way they go with this revelation. Here's the way it goes down:
Scenario One
Asian pilot continues to lie and the twerpy mechanic guy keeps hiding her true identity, and the weasel scientist continues to lie and act weasely, and nobody really finds anything out, and a bunch of other contrived crap happens which wouldn't need to happen if anyone would just behave like a decent human being for once.
Fate of Television Series: Utter and complete demise, leaving only a trail of missed potential in its wake.
Scenario Two
Anything other than Scenario One happens.
Fate of Television Series: Narrowly escapes disaster, and goes on to be a good, solid weekly show which we can all look forward to and maybe buy some action figures.
I give Scenario Two about a 20-1 shot at this point. Particualrly since the preview of tonights show shows somebody blowing themselves up, suicide-bomber style. Ugh.
Let us pray.
