There's a difference between regular old PCI, and PCI-Express, which is the new standard in video cards. PCI is slower than AGP, but PCI-Express is faster than AGP. PCI and PCI-Express aren't compatible with each other, so you can't plug an old PCI graphics card into a PCI-Express slot, and vice versa.
How fucking convenient. I'd be shitting if I bought new things early though. Alright, so I guess those lower level systems I was looking at weren't pieces of garbage.

They also have the kind of cases you're looking for, Milk. Gay ones.
Ultimately, getting all my own parts I'm getting nipped just a bit.

I'm glad I can find a normal case there though. The fast and furious route that PCs are taking is disgusting.

It's also nice to know that for every transposition error I make, you'll be there Robb.

Do you get free vaseline with them to and a free vibro desk mat?

Sometime Robb, you remind me of that guy over at partyhats or whatever that site was. Parade kid or something like that.

I bet he has a nice computer.

Yeah, my brother bought a PC from them. It took forever to arrive, as he chose the least expensive shipping option, but it did arrive as advertised.

For a $450 computer it was excellent. He didn't play Half-Life 2 or Vampire on it and I doubt that it could for what he spent, but for everything else it's worked great.

Hey Robb,

Do you have any experience with these CyberPower dudes? My wife and I are looking to get 2 new computers for the new office we are putting together.

We really want to go high tech. I kind of like that HOT red PC they have. That thing has curves good for buffing.

Let me know your thoughts.

Ok, I screwed up. It was not Robb who said APG.

Damn, I thought I had you Robb at APG.

Oh well, you still have the skillzzzz.

Wow, and to think I have counted on you for all of my computer skills.

Hahahahah APG, Hahahahahahaha.

You said APG, that is some good skillz.

I can't believe they don't have APG cards. =( Unless you mean AGP cards!!!

Cyber Power Systems Dot Com (or whatever the hell they are called) had delicious systems at a fraction of the price that Dell or whoever else had. Let's see if I can find an URL.

http://www.cyberpowersystem.com/

Hey, imagine that, they had cyberpowerpc.com redirect to that.

Anyway, there is a custom configuration script there to make your own system. Recommended!!

I'm getting tired of dicking around with my Persario 5600i, and I'm realizing that building my own computer from scratch may not be that great of a value.

So far I know of Dell, Gateway, and HP. All which seem to be exactly the same. Also, none have APG cards. :(
