Here you go, Bond:

You can use any email address as the email link, including mailinator. After sucessfully uploading the file, it displays the URL to retrieve it, so I just copy and paste that.

Don't you fucking hate it when people link to your stuff without asking permission first? Some arabic site linked to a picture of my sister-in-law's 4 year old daughter, and we (obviously) couldn't tell what was being said about it. So, we did what any law abiding American would do: replaced the picture with something very, very different. Needless to say, their link disappeared quite quickly.

No, I had a link to Necrotic Drift that got posted somewhere. I was going 6 GB a month in transfering that game, but I couldn't figure out where the link was coming from.

I removed the link but still caught it late for March... POE Hosting is really cool. When I went over for April they just noted it and encouraged me to upgrade if it was going to be a regular thing. I got it solved by the middle of March. I just wish I knew who linked it because it was really getting transfered at a good clip.

I got ganked on bandwidth last month and this month

That wasn't because you gave me all that HD space was it? I would feel bad if you had El Problemos de Grande because of that freaked out site I published there.

It looks that way, but I have seen it used in a manner which allows like 25 people to grab the file. I did some checking, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to work that way. I know it *can* be done, however.

...*headsmack* DUH. Although doesn't it only work one email at a time?

I got ganked on bandwidth last month and this month due to problems archiving ND... have you taken a look at www.yousendit.com? Because I know some guys who have transfered comics that way and it seems to be ideal for sending out a large file to a select number of people.

Would it be possible for any of you *cough* ROBB! PINBACK! *cough* kind, generous souls *cough* NOT ROBB! NOT PINBACK! *cough* who have this available to loan me about 50 megs of webspace? Temporarily? That being a synonym for loan? There's a CD full of material I'm planning on sending around to people and I'd rather not file transfer it to people when I can just give them a link instead, which is much faster for everyone anyway because servers have faster download speeds.

Please?

Just for a few days.
