How bout this, (he said, opportunistically) -- you get that batch of pics done for the new game and I will send you WHOLE GAMEBOYS via the mail.

Or: get the pics done and I will go to Seattle, chop up Howard Lincoln, and mail chunks of him to you. Lincoln "logs" that they themselves contain GBA screens? Again, no prob.

I think that speaks for itself.
Also: Nintendo = Whores. Replacement GBA Screen over here: £9.99, or about $16. Price of replacement GBA screen *KIT* on sweet American soil,

$1.25.

Fuck that shit, fuck it right in the ass.

Hey, Jonsey; If I order some replacement screens, can I send 'em to you to forward? Think of the shipping fees as my Christmas gift.

Mouse.

It would be much funnier if you waited a minute or two after I said that I IP banned you before posting. But then again, when have you ever gone for the funny? You think you can turn comedy on and off... like a light switch. Or the emotional state of a 16 year old girl. But you can't. You can't, friend. You're either with comedy or you're against it.

Which are you?

Good. Maybe I can finally get some WORK done around here.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Wed Oct 30, 2002 6:02 pm

No problem. In other SysOp news, I've IP banned you.

by Ben » Wed Oct 30, 2002 5:55 pm

I didn't want the clock changed to reflect where *I* was, I wanted it changed to reflect where IT was. Thank you for FINALLY actually doing some Sys-Opping around here.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Wed Oct 30, 2002 5:05 pm

Hm, as it turns out I *can* change the BBS clock.

Ah.

Well, then.

Anyway, it is set by default to reflect the Mountain Time Zone, which is currently GMT -10 hours. So if you're not logged in, like Ben, that's what you'll see.

Otherwise, you can fix the time yourself in your profile. I'd like to take this opportunity to state that the entire concept of Daylight Savings is retarded and reflects poorly upon us as a civilization. If we're setting the clocks back one hour for OMGOMG MORE SUNLIGHT YYAAAAY then why not three or four hours? Why not really save some of dat dere daylight? Retarded. Backwards. A waste of time. Ooh, time! LOLROLOR! Ah! Ah! Ah!

Oooh, the CORRECT time!! Righty-ho! I got it! Because, right, there is only *one* correct time. And it's whatever time So-Cal is in! Hahaha!

Let me explain to you the concept of "time zones," my sad, sad little friend. In order for mankind to be on the same page of reference when it comes to using such terms as "6:00AM" and/or "6:00PM," we have established the concept of "time zones" to make such references possible. I can say to you, "Hey, it sure is dark out at 11:00PM, ain't it?" and you can say, "Wow! It sure is!!!" and someone in Evil, Godless, Soviet Republic Breakaway can say, "Da, comrades!!!" to that as well. It's a marvelous little design.

That being said, it means that the time on the BBS is correct.... somewhere in the world! Most likely it is setup for Greenwich time. I don't really know because I set the BBS clock in my profile to be Greenwich minus whatever it is for Mountain Standard Time. The Time Zone in which I live.

So even if I were to set the BBS clock to something different it would still not be correct for you, because you live in a different time zone and I. And, what, I'm going to set it to Pacific time? AHahhahahahahahahaahhaahahhaha!!! Yeah... RIGHT. The festering culturesore that is the left coast will soon fall into the Pacific ocean itself, due to the fact that every single person who lives over there is a God-hating and altogether souless spawn of demonkin. What happens when the "Big One" hits and that section of the nation is destroyed? Will you then expect me to set the BBS clock AGAIN? Well, no, you won't, because you will be dead. But still.

I hope this clears things up.

I have to change it in my profile? You mean, when I register, there's a checkbox that says Do you want the clock to show the correct time?

And if I don't check that box, I'm out of luck?

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Tue Oct 29, 2002 3:49 pm

You have to change it in your profile. Oh, right, even though you DEMAND THAT EVERYONE REGISTER AND LOGIN TO YOUR OWN WEBSITE, YOU ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO DO SO FOR ANYONE ELSE.

So you CANNOT have a correct clock.

Up Scumbag!!!
