The way I found it was, I'm a big fan (as you probably have committed to memory) of Pontifex (and now Pontifex II) which can both be found at
www.chroniclogic.com. Without question, the greatest shareware games on Earth. Even better than Scarlet Waves!!!
Anyway, I was hanging out in the Pontifex forums, and one thread was "What other games are like this?" and the responses tended naturally towards other games in which the physics model is the primary element of the game. A couple others were mentioned (as was
www.sodaplay.com which is fairly fascinating) but then someone went: "D00D TEH BEST GMAE OF ALL TIEM IS ELASTOMANIA!!!!!!!!!" and slowly but surely, everyone on the thread came around to agreeing with him.
