Debugging stepwise revealed that there was a DirectSound error. I am very new to programming with Windows, so I have no idea what that means (other than there is probably a sound driver compatibility problem). This is the same problem discussed a few threads below regarding the PlaySound v. PlayMusic problem. Any suggestions. I am using PlayMusic in lieu and it works fine - is that going to pose a problem in the future?
