Here's a sample of some stuff that's really quite easy to do if you just shell out $2500+ or so:

I knew you'd dislike me talking about myself ... so I did but put this redeeming little bit at the end. I really do want to know!!!

I need to send away for the free CD burner that you can plug into it, onto which you can save WAVs and then bring them over to the computer, rip 'em to MP3 or whatever, and send 'em out. So, "YES", eventually you'll be able to hear my stuff.

As far as presently, I don't know a way to transfer stuff from keyboard to computer without the burner.

That doesn't mean it isn't possible, it just means I haven't figured it out yet. This machine is very (and when I say very, I mean: "very") complicated.

Is there any chance that we are going to be able to listen to some actual musical composition from you with your new keyboard? I think that would save the thread.

Ben's Mom agrees that he is pretty talented; we just want more CONTENT from him is all.

WHY ARE YOU DISCUSSING YOUR DAY!!?!?

This thread was about ME!!!!!!!!!!

ME, EFFERS!!!!!!!

This reminds me of my friday.
7:06 am school.
2:45 pm get home.
11:00 pm go to sleep.
11:06 Woken up to take dog out ... don't remember if I did. (You see he has three legs so I've got to take him on walks because he can't get up the stairs from our yard.)
11:13 Woken up again to tell me step dad were my mom was.
You see she was out ALL DAY with her fucking friend. I mean a nine hour friday to around past eleven O'Clock? Is that really motherly?

Fucks sake I've gotta learn to drive. Wouldn't do much help considering when my Mom leaves no one else is there and I have to be around my brother to help him out because he is parapalegic. I think I'll get out today.

Does it have those helicopter sounds Ben?

Watch out or he'll take STEPS.

What's that got to do with me? This thread is about ME!

See the continuing lack of respect? See it?

I can't even remember the name of the model that I have. It's a... Roland.

The price I got ($2499) was $200 less than any internet site I was able to find. However, if you can get it (Korg Triton Studio 61) cheaper, they'll refund the difference. So, go to it, laddie.

It would appear that your first update indicates that you have, in fact, purchased the item.

Sometimes you can stretch out the storytelling a bit more, to give the reader a sense of suspense or something. Surely there were some wild anecdotes in the purchasing of said keyboard? Anything? Like maybe, to prove that you were worthy of said machine, you had to engage in some kind of "play off" talent show thing against the shop owner? No? Maybe your fist through his face, possibly?

By the way, the last time I bought a (musical instrument) keyboard I paid $100 more than what I could have got it for over the web. I hate "local businesses" and would like to see them all shrivel up and die at the hands of internet commerce.

Friday.

Friday. 6:44 AM. Plan today is to purchase, on a whim, a Triton Studio keyboard for approximately $2500 plus tax. My original plan was: not to. But I have re-thought that plan.

Updates throughout the day as warranted.
