I continually refuse to bet on my favorite team -- the Buccaneers -- in our against-the-spread football pool. I won't do it, because I fear it's my heart getting in the way.

And, of course, each week if I HAD bet on them ... it would have pushed me closer to $$BIG MONEY$$.

Maybe not this week, though. I bet on both Detroit and Cincinnati. No joke. I made this bet sober, too.

At least I broke my string of betting on the Saints and getting screwed. (sorry, Robb.)
