Hmm... the search link goes away when you're not logged in. There might be a reason for it -- maybe it helps combat spam or search engine indexing of every post. Or it might just be a bug. I'll post a question to Rioshin.

It's like a little piece of Usenet... but here!

OK, back on track: If I may make an OFFICIAL SUGGESTION, Merk, it would be to allow searches even if you are not logged in. This way vain, big-headed text game authors can still search the forum to see if they are mentioned and then react acccordingly. :)

Of course, if you can do that and I just didn't see the link, please excuse my fourth-grader's reading comprehension.

Thanks!

The forum has been slowing down recently. I think most of the active visitors are probably busy working on IFComp games.

I'm a co-admin, and I bought the domain name, but other than that's, it's Rioshin's thing. He installed phpBB3, configured it, etc. I just kind of participate. :)

Merk is too modest to announce it here, but he has started a forum located here:

http://www.intfiction.org/forum/

You can self-promote all you want on Jolt Country; we're all friends here!

At any rate, it's another place to read about these crazy games, which is always welcome.
