I am posting simply to take that word off of two front webpages. Jesus Christ, it's reasons like this that get us blacklisted in off-the-shelf commercial software.

Kramer used my name in vain.

well, yeah, it's pretty obvious cnn cut and spliced that video like crazy. Why don't you just watch the whole thing on youtube before typing something stupid?
Because I don't go on fucking youtube you stupid maggot

I think it's awesome because of the white people spilling out of the laugh factory. "My god, we certainly did not come here for this, we came here for laughs." Even if he can't do what he tried to do, even if he is horrible, and obtuse. I love him for the attempt.

Oh, I love it so much. So much. For so many reasons.
Name one.
It's great to see the fear in richards' face that he'll never work again. Or that Jerry will be mad at him for hurting his[/h] dvd sales.

I feel as if he called that guy a n!33r to die for my sins. In three days he will rise from the dead and go on to become the best comedian ever. He's my messiah.

This is a different age. It reminds me a little of Andy Kaufman. Nobody took him seriously even though he was trying to make a valid point. What that point was we are not sure of, but he was trying to be serious and nobody was having it. Everyone seems to be waiting for him(Richards) to say something goofy. I guess having Seinfeld there only makes the goofiness factor increase.
I'm wondering when Richards will get beaten up.
When he's walking to his car?
Goes out to dinner?
Gets pulled over?
If he does get assaulted, everyone will say, "Serves him right!"
Maybe nothing will happen and all this will go away. He hasn't broken any enforceable laws, no movie of the week out of him.

Holy shit, the Letterman apology is hilarious.

"Stop laughing, it's not funny." -- Jerry Seinfeld

Haha, why is Seinfeld even out there? What the hell is that? Who booked them both?

00:47. Letterman doesn't ask a follow-up question and Richards is sitting there waiting. Everyone laughs. Everyone should laugh! For at least the following reasons:

1) We have, as a culture (especially the section of the culture likely to be at a fucking Letterman taping) been conditioned to laugh every time this guy is on TV. To the people who don't watch tv or hated "Seinfeld": great, not you. Everyone else, though.

2) He hasn't been on TV since that show ended, so we're all looking at him thinking this is another wacky Kramer moment whether we want to or not.

01:03 OK, Jerry was going to say the same thing I just came up with. We are used to Richards being funny. I'm sorry, but nobody can take this guy seriously.

"I'm really busted up over this." Hahahahah!

01:39: "Not just me but... uh... uh..." I think he wants to say "White Comedians everywhere."

Katrina? Did he just blame Katrina? It's the new 9/11!

2:20: "The force-field of this hostility." Wow. WOW.

3:13: He is speaking of The Rage as if it were a paying audience member. Excellent.

3:25: "I am not a racist!" Look, I don't judge people... I think that's one of the many reasons I get along with everyone who posts here... but if you uncork what he did, even if you're just trying to push the envelope, you're kind of a racist. At least a little one.

4:00: "I tried to jujitsu that." Aces.

What can you say. I don't know what I would do in that situation, so I am not giving him a hard time on this backwater BBS. It's just that there are certain people who don't do "sincere" well. It hits a little close to home. I don't mean along the lines of, "When I am out race baiting I find it very difficult to later -- " but as human beings we all screw up. Society expects certain ... I don't know, facial expressions or a tone or something when people go to apologize and there are people out there who can't mimic that perfectly. What they say is no less honest, it just looks fake.

That being said, the Letterman of 20 years ago would have had planted black audience members so they could heckle him during his teleconferenced apology.

I went to CNN.com to see the version of the tirade that Knuckles saw.

Those pieces of shit wanted me to watch the unanimated "TALK TO CHUCK" commercial where the snotty, middle-aged bitch complains because she has too many investments.

No fucking way am I sitting through an ad to watch video on CNN. I wouldn't do it if there were no such thing as Youtube. What a desperate bunch of assholes, CNN. The popup blocker on my shitty browser also went off - this desperation of economy was worse than anything Cosmo Kramer ever did.

by co » Tue Nov 21, 2006 6:33 pm

He did look pretty pathetic when he was apologizing so we ought to let him off the hook and go back to forgetting about him.

I'll give it another listen -- hell, I was going to do that anyway -- but I don't remember "cracker" being on the subtitles until well after Kramer had race baited the audience. Perhaps one of the gang said it softly, too soft for our ears to hear but not the ears of a self-styled psychopathic circus felon whose ears are no doubt more sensitive to that sort of thing.

Great. This is cut out of the video I saw, would you please provide a link?

by Knuckles the CLown » Tue Nov 21, 2006 3:17 pm

Um, the black guy called him a cracker ass first. He brought race into the mix to start. If he doesn't want to get called a n!33r don't call white people crackers.

by Worm » Mon Nov 20, 2006 11:45 pm

What's racist about it? It's the only guaranteed way to stop a black guy from laughing at his own joke about you.

Kramer was doing some stand-up and unleashed some n-bombs on the people who were heckling him. We don't get to hear the hecklers.

Man.

Racists or hecklers? Who to hate more?
