A guy is selling new old stock Robotron minis on eBay. A couple geniuses thought they'd buy a shitty one, buy the new old stock one, swap them and then get the credit card companies involved:
> As a proud owner of one of those NIB Robo minis from
>John, I can tell you it was quite the unique experience
>cracking the box open to find an absilutely pristine
>machine inside. Well worth the price of admission IMHO!!

Well one customer of our NOS Robotron c/ts wasn't so happy with her purchase ($3250 on Nov 25). Claimed to her credit card company - three months after it arrived - that the game was not as described in the auction. Paid for the game plus shipping via Credit Card through PayPal.

Credit Card company had her get someone come out to 'inspect' the machine. Anyone know who this might be? Some tech from Denver as I understand it - from a local vending company, game distributor, or repair shop. I have a couple of questions I'd like to ask him. Like the serial number and another question that will be obvious if you continue reading..

Interestingly enough her partner bought (on eBay) a second reconditioned Robo c/t for $909US the day AFTER he bought mine... it arrived in mid December as well. We have a signed receipt for our game.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0052215472 (her partner (same address - and he corresponded with me while we worked out shipping) bought this one)

Curious coincidence, isn't it?

Oh, and they left NO negative feedback on my machine... yet they claimed to the credit card company that I cheated them! Curious again, eh?

Sigh. the long and short of it is PayPal did their usual nothing - paid the guys credit card company off and now are after me for the rest of the money.

An interesting story that I may go into more detail when I get back after April 15. Stay Tuned!
I, for one, can't wait to hear how it went out. Nice of Paypal to pump it up and instantly refund the money of these two bumbling, shitheel thieves.

What the hell is this, Milk? So I guess eBay is problem-free? This is unacceptable! F------! Would not read from ever again!

I would like for the Milker to express his thoughts on eBay, as I have been assured that they are awesome and we can all relate.

Please kick off the content in this thread, my friend!
