That's okay -- I figured you were just busy. I'll be out there again some other time, I'm sure.

And I had a blast, as I always do. The restaurant critic for Westword is an old friend of mine, so he shows me all the good places to eat and drink. And I do so, to excess.

I'd like to completely and totally apologize for not getting back to you before the month of April, when you said you'd be here for a week in April. I hope you had a good time and were able to see a few of the sites. The thing I am working on now, for work, has been in, "this is definitely the last day mode" for three weeks and therefore each single day I work late hoping it will be the last time I have to do it... but it's not.

It sort of reminds me of Dan Schmidt's theory when it comes to the Spider-Man comic strip.

And let me apologize for the fear mongering the media engaged in, making you think that this huge winter storm was coming. All that it resulted in was like a few drops of freezing rain that melted as soon as they hit the pavement. Do you know embarrassing it is when this sort of thing is brought up in front of someone who lives in BUFFALO? People in the snow belt already think (rightly so) that we are just a bunch of sissy soft suckers when it comes to blizzard conditions... everyong cleaning out the Safeways of eggs and butter because the local news stations fucked up and declared a winter storm warning with NO SNOW just makes it worse.

Much, much worse.

Well, we have a guest room and loads of arcade games, so let us know if you need a place to crash. We're pretty near the airport.
