There's another one set on a starship with an impressive intro, I cna't remember what it's called; also with the PC GAMER staff.
I believe that would be the U.S.S. Darkstar mod, also by the author of the They Hunger trilogy, Neil Manke.
Obligatory link pimpin':

I've played a few mods for Half-Life, but they were all of the single-player variety. Low Ping Bastards on a T3 line who still feel the infantile need to win via wallhacking soured me on the whole online gaming thing.
Also, even in a fair contest, I tend to get my sorry ass schooled by some 16-year-old who can practice 20 hours a day over the summer. Or by some 35-year-old who's never failed to log in four hours of practice on an FPS since Quake I was out of beta. Or by, well, anyone else out there who doesn't completely suck at deathmatches the way I do. The disparity between the l33t masters of the world and the kiddie-pool duffers like myself is disheartening.
Single-playerwise, though, I hear that Poke 646 was very nice indeed. I haven't tried it myself, you understand, just passing the link along.
