The slim won't run 1.5, but anything else will. I actually made a pandora battery at school for my friend. He brought in a PSP, I futzed around, found an
MSI that does all the work, and made him his battery. He downgraded on the spot.

Yeah, you can't make the battery. Also you'll need an older battery. Once I have a minute or two, I'm going to make myself a pandora battery, which I can pretty easily post to you.
